Цифру сняли на прямом кабеле, с одним размером блока и пустым портом. В продакшене массив стоит за парой ToR, 16 хостов читают с него одновременно, а трафик приложений идет по тем же портам 100G. В типовом проекте приемки это дает 6,8 GB/s и 0,3 % потерь. Мы меряем сеть между хостами и массивом: IOPS и задержку по размеру блока и глубине очереди, под incast и через отказы. ## Стенд Хосты стенда работают инициаторами и гоняют ваш профиль ввода-вывода: 4 kB random, 64 kB и 1 MB sequential, соотношение чтения и записи, глубину очереди и число хостов из статистики вашей нагрузки. Протокол ваш: iSCSI, NVMe/TCP или NVMe-oF поверх RoCEv2 на портах 100G и быстрее, которые согласуем под конкретный стенд. Target – ваш массив в стойке, программное хранилище на хостах стенда или система в вашей лаборатории, подключенная по выделенному каналу. Между ними стоит тестируемая пара ToR с вашей выгрузкой конфигурации: QoS map, PFC на очереди хранения, пороги ECN, DCBX, MTU 9000. Порты генератора кладут смесь приложений на те же порты. Счетчики коммутатора снимаем по портам и очередям весь прогон: отправленные и принятые pause-кадры, метки ECN, дропы. ## Что проверяем - Throughput и IOPS по размеру блока на глубине очереди от 1 до 64, через коммутатор, при работающей смеси приложений - Latency p50 и p99 в тех же точках; среднее прячет медленный хвост, а p99 база данных чувствует первой - Incast: 8, 16 и 32 инициатора читают с одного порта target одновременно, на каждом шаге потери, время пауз и метки ECN по очередям - PFC: pause-кадры по портам и приоритетам, и держит ли медленный target только очередь хранения или подпирает остальную фабрику - Шторм: генератор намеренно держит один порт в PFC; как далеко затор расходится по хопам и когда срабатывает watchdog - ECN и DCQCN: доля меток против ваших порогов и то, как NIC инициаторов снижают и восстанавливают скорость, если на стенде есть ваша карта - Отказ пути: линк, порт NIC или контроллер гасим при идущем вводе-выводе и меряем время от последней завершенной операции до первой вернувшейся На [странице хранилищ](https://test4net.com/solutions/storage?hsLang=ru) все 5 классов устройств. В проекте из первого абзаца в поставленной конфигурации не было PFC на очереди хранения, ECN был выключен, и 16 хостов читали в один порт. Кривая чтения легла на 6,8 GB/s начиная с глубины очереди 16. С PFC на этой очереди, заданными порогами ECN и хранением в отдельном классе те же хосты дошли до 10,4 GB/s без потерь. Менялась только конфигурация коммутатора. Пауза не там. QoS map кладет трафик приложений в тот же приоритет, что и хранение, target на несколько секунд замедляется, и PFC останавливает обоих. Приложение встает вместе с хранилищем, и тикет уходит вендору массива. Счетчики пауз по очередям отличают медленный массив от коммутатора, который ставит на паузу весь линк; график throughput этого не умеет. Отказ пути. Multipathing настроен, линк падает, ввод-вывод переходит на второй путь. Сколько хосты ждут, зависит от их таймаутов и от коммутатора, а приложение чувствует весь разрыв. В типовой таблице приемки это одна строка: переключение контроллера, остановка ввода-вывода 2,4 с при критерии 5 с, задержка записана через все событие. ## Что в отчете Throughput и IOPS по размеру блока, глубине очереди и протоколу, измеренные через коммутатор со смесью приложений на портах. Latency p50 и p99 в тех же точках, под нагрузкой и через каждый отказ. Время пауз, метки ECN и потери по очередям и портам, и уровень incast, на котором очередь хранения начинает подпирать фабрику. Статистика ввода-вывода с хостов, счетчики коммутатора по очередям, счетчики массива, захваты трафика и выгрузка конфигурации каждого прогона, со строкой конфигурации за каждым непройденным критерием.
