У IGP одна задача: быстро рассказать каждому роутеру, где какой линк. Протоколу 30 лет, и реализации до сих пор отличаются в 10 раз по скорости этой работы. Разница в 10 раз выливается в секунды, на которые ваши пользователи теряют пакеты после обрыва оптики.

## Стенд

DUT подключается к генератору портами от 1G до 100G. Генератор эмулирует остальную area: для OSPF это сотни роутеров со своими LSA, сети point-to-point и broadcast, stub и NSSA area, OSPFv3 для IPv6; для IS-IS роутеры level 1 и level 2, wide metrics, multi-topology для IPv6 и TLV, которые нужны дизайну segment routing. Эмулированная топология может быть на несколько сотен узлов с несколькими тысячами префиксов: это больше, чем у большинства корпоративных сетей, и приличный кусок сети оператора.

DUT работает с вашими таймерами, вашей аутентификацией и вашим дизайном area. Если в продакшене hello 50 мс и LFA, то и в тесте так же.

## Что проверяем

- Adjacency: 50, 200 и больше соседей поднимаются одновременно, время до состояния Full или Up у каждого, поведение при несовпадении MTU и ошибках аутентификации
- Флудинг: шторм LSA или LSP из одного угла area, время, за которое DUT разольет его по остальным, и CPU во время шторма
- SPF: смена стоимости линка, отказ узла и изменение префикса, каждое событие замеряется от триггера до обновленного FIB; throttle-таймеры SPF сверяются с настроенными значениями
- Сходимость в терминах трафика: генератор гонит потоки через DUT и замеряет разрыв в миллисекундах по каждому потоку, когда пропадает линк или сосед
- Fast reroute: покрытие LFA и TI-LFA по каждому префиксу и фактический разрыв с включенным FRR и без него
- Масштаб: LSDB на тысячи префиксов, память за 24 часа и проверка, что после graceful restart ничего не забыто
- Взаимодействие: редистрибуция OSPF или IS-IS в BGP и обратно, route tag, суммаризация на границах area

## Что обычно ломается

Adjacency поднимаются. Проблема в часах. У роутера с 300 соседями и LSDB на 5000 префиксов SPF занимает 20 мс на бумаге и 800 мс на железе, потому что время уходит на обновление FIB после SPF, в даташите же указан только SPF. Ваш разрыв трафика равен сумме.

Второй типичный случай: флудинг под нагрузкой. Флап линка на одной стороне area дает всплеск LSA; DUT, у которого control plane уже загружен на 70% из-за BFD и BGP, задерживает рассылку на секунды, и дальняя сторона area живет на устаревшей информации. В лаборатории с 5 роутерами такого не бывает. С 300 эмулированными бывает.

Третий случай: покрытие fast reroute. TI-LFA включен, дизайн исходит из того, что защищен каждый префикс, а проверка покрытия показывает 15% префиксов без резервного пути из-за выбора метрики, сделанного годы назад. Тест их перечисляет.

## Что в отчете

Время adjacency и флудинга таблицами. SPF и обновление FIB по каждому событию, рядом throttle-таймеры. Таблица сходимости по каждому сценарию отказа: событие, затронутые потоки, разрыв в миллисекундах, с FRR и без. Список покрытия LFA. CPU и память за весь прогон, конфигурация DUT и эмулированная топология. Вендору хватит, чтобы воспроизвести каждый пункт.
